Hi! My name is Sam, and I've been doing portrait photography (and occasional weddings) in MD, DE, and PA for over a decade.

Movies were my first love, but when I enrolled at Cecil College in 2010 as a video production major, I began taking the required photography courses and discovered for the first time the joy and thrill of creating still images. Here was all the magic of movies, distilled into one frozen moment in time. Photography became a new passion, and I've been exploring and experimenting with the art form ever since.

My philosophy is this: everyone has a story, and everyone has a role they play. My job is to capture YOUR story and YOUR character in a single frame. Each picture I take is a mini movie with YOU as the star.

People are my preferred subject because people are fascinating. A really great portrait connects you with the model and shows you who they are, or who they would like to be, and sometimes a bit of both.

There is no one style that fits all. Each person is unique, and that uniqueness is the key to making memorable photographs that you will cherish forever.
